Tax Credit for Rinnai On-Demand Water Heaters

Rinnai Tankless Water Heaters

With the new year upon us, I’d like to take this time to tell you that 2010 is the last year that Rinnai “on demand” water heaters are eligible for a tax credit. The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 is good through Dec. 31, 2010. The tax credit is 30% of the full purchase and installation price up to a maximum of $1,500.00.

If contracted before April 1, 2010, we will include a 5% discount off of the total invoice.

This tax credit is also available on boilers with an AFUE rating over 90%. If you have an electric water heater, and want to experience savings between 40% and 70%, while at the same time, doing something positive for the environment, this could be an opportune time to make the change.

If you have an indirect water heater that is tied into your heating system, you could experience 30% savings. A family of four is estimated to use 1/2 gal. of propane per day under normal use. At this rate, the payback period vs. electric is approximately 1-1/2 to 2 years – max. The payback on replacing an indirect heater is a little longer.

Rinnai “on demand” heaters have an industry leading 12 year warranty on their commercial grade, copper heat exchanger. Plus, Rinnai tankless water heaters have a typical life span of 20 years or more installed in a residential application – up to twice as long as a tank.

No propane? No problem!

Even if you don’t have existing propane in your home, our technicians can pipe everything to the outside so the gas company can drop a tank and hook right on. Both technicians at Heath & Field Plumbing are NH Master Plumbers and are licensed gas technicians as well. So, why not give us a call for your free estimate for a new Rinnai tankless water heater today at (603)-863-3244.
